In 2005 I took a trip to Rome. A real vacation and one of the few trips in the past ten years that didn’t involve going to a concert. I stayed for a week and walked a whole lot seeing many churces and squares, fountains and everything in-between.

At that time I had just read Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons” and wanted to see all the places mentioned there. I found all of them and some gave me a good laugh, because they were so wrongly depicted in the book. It was still interesting seeing them.

In 2009 I returned, this time only for a weekend to see Bruce Springsteen in concert. I was with a friend who had never been to Rome, so we went to many of the regular tourist places. It was fun to see everything again and a few new places too.

The pictures are mixed from both trips.
