This year I spent my summer vacation in the north of Iceland, visiting Akureyri and the surrounding area. I saw the highlands, magnificent waterfalls, mountains, a geothermal area, cliffs and beautiful landscape all around. I also went to Grimsey Island, crossing the arctic circle and seeing puffins as well as exploring the ice cave of Lofthellir.
